Rugged SPDs for Transient Voltage Mitigation
Maxivolt’s surge protective devices (SPDs) prioritize safety and performance above all else, featuring integrated fusing and a non-ground-dependent design to minimize risks. Our custom-sized hybrid surge suppression circuits ensure optimal performance, while the connection conductors are soldered directly to these circuits, accelerating device response time. The durable, non-conductive enclosures are coated with a catalyst-hardened paint that withstands rugged environments and minimizes touch safety hazards. Proudly made by hand in Texas, all Maxivolt surge protective devices undergo extensive testing to withstand challenging applications and harsh environments.
Shop our GuardDog® Series, ICP Series, MV Series, and WS Series products following the links below, or consult a member of our team to discuss custom designs or specific needs not showcased. Our team can work with you to manufacture a custom surge protective device that meets all of your unique needs. With dozens of American-made models to choose from, we’ve developed our standard line of SPDs to meet nearly all industrial, commercial, or residential demands for protection from transient voltage.
Protection on two levels
The GuardDog® WRG-Series is the premier line of Maxivolt devices. Primary and secondary protection circuits give clients a redundant layer of protection in the event the first level of protection expends. SenseTech® form C dry contacts come standard on both protection layers while an optional audible alarm can be added to either the primary or secondary protection circuit. Each SPD is handmade in the USA and goes through a rigorous testing process.

Maxivolt's Original Protection
The MV-Series is Maxivolt’s original product line. Modifications through the years have improved the already legendary performance of these devices. The line has been expanded to 17 standard models covering virtually every type of AC power system in the world from 120 VAC to 600 VAC. MV-Series products feature hybrid circuits consisting of only the highest quality components engineered to provide an industry best clamping threshold for the specific voltage application they are designed to safeguard. Serviceable safety fusing and their non-ground dependent design eliminate safety risks associated with competitive devices. The various benefits of MV-Series products provide clients with a quantifiable payback.

PERFORMANCE & FLEXIBILITY
Maxivolt engineers designed the ICP-Series to provide sensitive individual circuit protection. The ICP Plus, ICP-CRA, and 420-RW were later introduced to expand application possibilities and communication versatility of the line. ICP devices require a standard octal 8-pin base to install, are available in series and parallel configurations, and provide an alarm pin for device status monitoring. ICP Plus and ICP-CRA devices provide dry contacts for device status monitoring.

SERIOUS MEDIUM VOLTAGE PROTECTION
Maxivolt engineers designed the WS-Series for medium voltage applications from 1,000 VAC – 5,000 VAC. In 2013, the WS-5KV was introduced to replace the WS-4160. Integrated safety fusing and the non-ground dependent design eliminate safety risks associated with other medium voltage SPDs. It’s small footprint make it ideal for installation in cramped and crowded applications.
