Quality Integrated & External SPDs for Transient Voltage
Maxivolt’s external and integrated surge protective devices, or SPDs, stand out in the market with their unparalleled safety, rugged testing, and high-performance features. The design of these surge protective devices, which prioritizes safety and performance above all else, features integral fusing and a non-ground-dependent structure to minimize safety risks. The custom-sized hybrid surge suppression circuits ensure optimal performance, while the connection conductors are soldered directly to these circuits, accelerating device response time.
The durable, non-conductive enclosures are coated with a catalyst-hardened paint that withstands harsh weather conditions and minimizes touch safety hazards. To eliminate any confusion, each device is permanently labeled for ease of use. Every Maxivolt device undergoes rigorous testing to minimize the potential for defects, and can even be custom-designed and built to meet the specific needs of clients. Proudly made by hand in the USA, Maxivolt equipment represents the ultimate combination of safety, performance, and quality.
Transient Voltage Surge Protection Devices (SPDs)
Available surge protective devices come in an array of types and models, detailed by our extensive collection of American-made products below. Customers can trust that all surge protective devices have undergone extensive testing to withstand challenging applications and harsh environments. Shop our GuardDog® Series, ICP Series, MV Series, and WS Series products following the links below, or consult a member of our team to discuss custom designs or specific needs not showcased. Our team can work with you to manufacture a custom integrated or external surge protective device that meets all of your unique needs and represents the pinnacle of safety, performance, and American-made quality our customers have come to expect and trust over the years. With dozens of different models to choose from, we’ve developed our standard line of SPDs to meet nearly all industrial, commercial, residential, or municipal demands for protection from transient voltage.
Protection on two levels
The GuardDog® WRG-Series is the premier line of Maxivolt products. Primary and secondary protection circuits give clients a redundant layer of protection in the event the first level of protection is expended. SenseTech® form C dry contacts are provided standard on both layers of protection. An optional audible alarm can be added to either the primary or secondary protection circuit. Every device is hand made in the USA and goes through a rigorous and demanding testing process. GuardDog® WRG-Series products feature hybrid circuits consisting of only the highest quality components engineered to provide a clamping threshold for the specific voltage application they are designed for. Safety fusing and the non-ground dependent design eliminate safety risks associated with competitive devices. The various benefits of WRG-Series products provide clients with a quantifiable payback.

There's No Better Protection
The MV-Series is Maxivolt’s original product line. Modifications through the years have improved the already legendary performance of these devices. The line has been expanded to 17 standard models covering virtually every type of AC power system in the world from 120 VAC to 600 VAC. Every device is hand made in the USA and goes through a rigorous and demanding testing process. MV-Series products feature hybrid circuits consisting of only the highest quality components engineered to provide an industry best clamping threshold for the specific voltage application they are designed for. Serviceable safety fusing and the non-ground dependent design eliminate safety risks associated with competitive devices. The various benefits of MV-Series products provide clients with a quantifiable payback.

PERFORMANCE & FLEXIBILITY
Maxivolt engineers designed the ICP-Series to provide sensitive individual circuit protection. The ICP Plus, ICP-CRA, and 420-RW were later introduced to expand the application and communication versatility of the line. ICP devices require a standard octal 8-pin base to install, are available in series and parallel configurations, and provide an alarm pin for device status monitoring. ICP Plus and ICP-CRA devices provide dry contacts for device status monitoring. All ICP-Series devices feature a hybrid circuit consisting of only the highest quality components engineered to provide an industry best clamping threshold for the specific voltage application they are designed for. Safety fusing and the non-ground dependent design eliminate safety risks associated with competitive devices. The various benefits of ICP-Series products provide clients with a quantifiable payback.
