Two-Layer Protection Solutions
The GuardDog® WRG-Series is the premier line of Maxivolt products. These surge protective devices (SPD) offer primary and secondary protection as dual TVSS circuits provide a redundant layer of protection in the event the first level of protection expends. SenseTech® form C dry contacts are provided standard on both layers of protection. An optional audible alarm can be added to either the primary or secondary protection circuit for immediate notification. Every GuardDog® surge protective device is hand-made in the USA and goes through a rigorous and demanding testing process.
GuardDog® WRG-Series products feature hybrid circuits consisting of only the highest quality components engineered to provide a clamping threshold for the specific voltage application they are designed for, ranging from 120V to 690V. The GuardDog® Series product line contains eight different models, all offering line-to-line or line-to-neutral modes of protection. As a surge protective device with dual transient voltage surge suppressor circuits, these are designed to accommodate applications with between 120 and 690 volts. The GuardDog® name is well-earned, as these go anywhere, do anything SPDs operate in temperatures as low as -40℃ / -40℉, up to 85℃ / 185℉, and in variable humidities from 1% to 95% saturation.
