Wildfire Relief Donation Match
Help us help our neighbors
When Maxivolt started in 1988 in the Panhandle of Texas, we knew the people in our community would support us and stand with us to grow our business. We also knew this would be our home forever because of the values and attributes of the hard-working and resilient people here we call our neighbors.
On February 27, the Texas Panhandle was ravaged by wildfires which spread quickly in 60 mph winds. Our community has sadly lost two citizens and a firefighter in these horrific fires. Over 1,000,000 acres of land burned, along with the homes and cattle it contained, and the livelihood it offered farmers and ranchers.
The people of the Panhandle, and of Texas in general, are an amazing group. The volunteer and professional firefighters have done an outstanding job of containing the damage. We’ve watched people from all around our area offer monetary donations, bring in tons and tons of hay and truckloads of water for the livestock, and offer up land for the cattle to graze and trucks and trailers to transport them… all at their own expense. The outpouring of support is inspiring and indeed worthy of awe.
As these fires continue, more help is needed. If you are able and want to help, Maxivolt has set up a place to donate directly to those who’ve lost their homes in the wildfires. We’ve set a goal for donations of $1000 and will match up to $1000.
Thank you for supporting Maxivolt for the past 36 years, and thank you to the people of the Panhandle for showing all of us what taking care of your neighbor really means.
